Knight's Requiem

A platformer about grief, where the only way out is forward.

"Knight's Requiem" takes players on a "knight's" emotional journey through the five stages of grief, each represented as a unique level:

• Denial – A colorful, upbeat world where reality hasn’t set in.
• Anger – A fast-paced precision platformer, designed to frustrate and embody the rage of this stage.
• Bargaining – A puzzle-like challenge reflecting the desperate search for solutions.
• Depression – A slow, dark level that ends with a plunge into the abyss (skipped due to a bug).
• Acceptance – A peaceful, grounded space with no platforms—just calm, moving forward.

Controls

• Arrow Keys – Move left and right
• Space – Jump
• Esc - Pause

This game was created for the "Code for a Cause" game jam and is available as raw Godot 4.4 files (no executable or browser version).
